This is a horribly incomplete and hackish script to insert '[i][/i]' between each character. It will mess up most eeCode, but I made sure it skipped over the [quote] and [/quote] tags.
(It's designed for use with eCritters.)
For people using Firefox, other Gecko-based browsers, and maybe IE and Opera (untested), use the following link as a bookmark. The best way for Firefox people is to just drag it onto your Personal Bookmark Toolbar:
Now you can type your posts in the forums and then click the 'Desmiley' button at the top of the screen to translate it.
This won't work for creating new topics, or for sending eeMail. For that, you'll have to copy and paste to and from the form below.
Just enter the HTML in the first text area and click in the second text area.
I spent a few minutes making a very basic HTML->eeCode Translator last year. This is based off of it.
